We presented the results of the project in Lankóc forest
At a field visit we observed the results of the implemented restoration measures in Lankóc forest.
During a 4 days field trip, WWF Adria, our partner organization, has presented the recently implemented habitat restoration measures along the Mura, Drava and Danube to representatives of Endangered Landscape Program. As a part of this program, we visited the two water retention artefacts in Lankóc forest, and we could observe a lot of water reatined by them. We introduced the project's other, Lankóc forest related results to the participants, such as bat boxes, artifical bird nests, water level measures and information and information boards, and we showed them the former black locust plantation replaced with indigenous tree species.
Next day the group visited the Kopácsi meadow and other areas along the Danube near Eszék.
