The floodplain landscape design game is now ready

As part of the project, a new demonstration tool has been created, which, in a playful manner, illustrates why the protection of natural riverbanks is important.

The floodplain landscape design game, a tool designed for use at exhibitions and events, presents the advantages of natural riverbanks in an engaging way for all age groups. The game consists of 18 hexagonal elements, each side depicting a section of the river, varying in its natural or built state. Players must assemble these hexagons on the game board between the predetermined start and end points. Landscape elements include features such as floodplain forest, main channel, side branch, oxbow, valley dam, and farmland.

We used the tool for the first time at the Barcs City Day, where we received exclusively positive feedback regarding its usage.
