Studies mapping the ecosystem services of the project sites have been completed

Ecosystem services icludes all the benefits that humanity receives from nature. They can be maintenance services providing the basic infrastructure of life, services regulating the balance of the functioning of ecosystems, services supplying humanity and cultural services representing a value that is difficult to quantify in money.

During the mapping of ecosystem services, an emphasis was placed on the perceptions of local stakeholders and the comparison of these records with scientific data. An important element of the studies is to outline the expected future scenarios and examine their effects. With their help, we can be prepared for the near future and find the best local responses in a changing environment.
